Kaw Thaung (formerly Victoria Point) sits opposite the Thai city of Ranong, at the mouth of the Pagyan River, on the southernmost tip of Myanmar. It is a major border crossing and trade point, and also offers major potential for tourism development because of Its proximity to the Myeik Archipelago.
